ABOUT THIS PROJECT

NHS Elect is a national members’ network organisation providing support and training for community and mental health trusts, as well as Clinical Commission Groups (CCGs) and Integrated Care Systems (ICSs). They needed a new website and corresponding members’ platform to host online events, training courses and member resources. 

Their preference was an end-to-end solution for all the key member features without relying on the integration of multiple third-party plug-ins.

SOLUTION

Winona developed a new website and membership platform on the latest Microsoft .Net platform. The system mixes a user friendly CMS that links seamlessly with an integrated CRM for managing NHS Elect members.

The platform allows NHS Elect to run their members’ events and training courses (online and offline) while also sharing premium member resources and managing subscriptions for E-marketing. 

MEMBER EVENTS

The integrated events module supports both online and face-to-face events, inclusive of

• E-commerce options for bookings and ticketing
• CRM functionality for managing registration and attendance

MEMBER COURSES

The platform provides member access to over 150 development opportunities through the integrated online course module.

• Each course uses a combination of slides, multimedia content and interactive questionnaires.
• Course enrolments are managed through the integrated CRM.
• Surveys are used to track learner progress and can be taken after course completion 
• Downloadable certificates are provided when the pass mark is reached (useful for CPD records). 

MEMBER RESOURCES

The integrated resources module allows members to access over 200 premium presentations, templates & guides, webinars and podcasts. Resources are restricted to logged in members and include

• Video & audio content  
• Image galleries
• Downloadable documents (PDFs and Office suite) 
• Useful web pages from partner sites

CRM INTEGRATION 

The NHS Elect site uses an integrated CRM module for managing details of NHS Elect member organisations, contacts and subscriptions. The CRM module also includes personal content features for members, allowing them to log all of their participation at events and courses and bookmark their favourite content. 

Note: the CMS platform can also link well with third party CRMs like MS Dynamics (see UKCISA) and Salesforce (see ParentKind).
