We have been the trusted digital partner of the British Fashion Council (BFC) since 2007 and have built up a wealth of experience working in the fashion industry over nearly a decade. We have designed and built online platforms for London Fashion Week, London Collections and the Fashion Awards. We have also built the BFC’s corporate site, the BFC’s Designer Fact File and the BFC Colleges Council website.
The fashion industry works to a very specific calendar with particular pressures which we well understand. That knowledge helps us make a very real difference to fashion designers’ experience of working in the digital arena. We provide digital solutions that both reflect the quality of designers’ work and also enable them to progress to the next stage of the digital journey. We understand that fashion brands don’t just need a glossy design, but also robust systems and processes to enable customers to buy products easily or to access information about where a latest range is stocked.
Relevance is key. There is often a danger in the fashion industry that the digital tone is right but the functionality required has been forgotten about. Winona is able to create online platforms that support the brand vision and also deliver effectively what designers need in terms of e-commerce (including online shops built on the market leading Magento platform), e-marketing, rich media content, search engine optimisation and social media integration etc.
Winona have been BFC web partner since 2007. Our first project was the online platform for London Fashion Week (now in service for 15 seasons). We subsequently developed the BFC corporate site and sites for Fashion Awards, London Collections, LONDON show ROOMS, Designer Fact File, Fashion 2012 and Britain Creates.
